hello, my husband and I first met Michael Burris on the elevator at St.Louis Children's Hospital. I'll never forget, my husband was standing behind the wheelchair that I was sitting in. My head was bowed down not knowing what was going to happen to my son. He was born 3 months early weighing only 1 pound 13 ounces. Michael was speaking with another man on the elevator and stopped when the elevator came to the NICU floor. He asked my husband and I if it were ok to pray for us. Being in my state of not knowing how God was going to move in our situation. He began to pray over my family and pray that I would not go into depression. That happened September 25,2007 and he's has been in our hearts every since. It took a total complete stranger to tell me that every thing will work out fine, because he knew that my husband are in a good church and God is in controll. God sent him to speak with us and Micheal allowed God to use him. That one moment holds the biggest place our family heart. He spoke on how he was a preemie at birth and how big he was then. Needless to say my son weighs now around 30 pounds and his healthy. He is currently having speech and occupational thearpy. God is able to do all things..It was truely a blessing meeting Michael Burris. God Bless

Nancy, I'm sorry I missed the wedding, but I was there when you found your dress! I'm truly sorry I missed meeting Michael, but I feel I know him a little from this web site and all the wonderful blogs & entries. You were blessed to have found each other. I hope Ralph is teaching Michael how to play golf at our Lord's Heavenly Country Club! I'll catch up to them there. I thank God for orchestrating our reconnection at this time. Even though I only knew Mike through his disease, he touched many patients in my department by helping them feel at peace while they were recieving treatment for their diseases. I am thankful he was there so many times to comofort other patients in a time of need.

I worked for Mike in Tulsa when he was the Sales manager for Tulsa Duplicating. He hired me 6/1/2000. Mike led me back to the LORD Jesus Christ and introduced me to Destiny Church in Broken Arrow. I am saddened to hear Mike is no longer with us by I look so forward to seeing him in heaven. Mike is a true blessing to all who were a part of his life.
